        • On 5th  Feb 2023,Dr.A.Padmavthi HOD.of Microbiology and Biochemistry  was invited as a judge for Elocution-(Telugu) Competition -Senior category organised by 3rd Helapuri Balothsvavam committee Eluru

      • On 4th  Feb 2023,Dr.Y.Neeraja Dept.of Microbiology was invited as a judge for folk dance Competition -Senior category organised by 3rd Helapuri Balothsvavam committee Eluru.

    • On 23rd Jan 2023 Open day - As a part of outreach programme girls from intermediate were called to visit  different departments an awareness on the subjects and carrier opportunities was given by Applied Science staff  programme. As part of it Nutrition department exhibited on Vegetable carving, energy rich recepies useful during exams, Microbiology department exhibited on laboratory techniques, Ethanol Production, cultivation of Microorganisms on different medias, and Biochemistry department demonstrated on Nanobots, Blood Group test, estimations of Carbohydrates, Proteins and Fats to the students.

  • On 9th Jan 2023 Dr.Jyothi Kumari was invited  as  judge for"Traditional food preparation contest " for staff and students organised by Sir CRR group of Colleges as a part of Sankranthi Sambaralu.

  • On 21th January, 2023 As a part of  Women cell activity Dr. A. Padmavathi Conducted Poster Painting competition  on Girl Child Education or Girl Child Protection.

Mrs.Y.Neeraja acts as Judge as Mehendi Competition organized by Department of Botany as a part of Botany week celebrations.

November 13 to 21, 2019 - 4 staff members Dr.P.Jyothi kumari, Dr.A.Padmavathi, Sr.Sunila Rani.P and Mrs.D.Lumbini Devi, 2 students M.Vineetha, III MBN, M.Devi, III MB Chemistry attended IMRF’s 13th International Conference Thailand at Asian Instititute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. Staff and students of the department also presented 5 papers in the programme.

New Academic Year 2019-2020

It is a new academic year of 2019-2020.  It is going to be a year of immense possibilities and challenges.  It's time to unfold new pages and start a new chapter.    We Have A New Principal - Dr.Sr.Marietta D'mello , the former provincial of sisters of St.Ann's Congregation of Providence, took charge as a new principal of St.Theresa's College, Eluru on 6th June, 2019.  Wholeheartedly the Management, Staff and Students welcome her to lead and guide the college.  The welcome celebrations was organized by the newly elected staff club members Dr.D.Fathima Rani, Mrs.Y.Neeraja and Mrs.Santhosh Jhawar .

AWARENESS PROGRAMMES

On 04.02.2022 organized a Cancer Awareness Quiz on the Eve of World Cancer Day, more than 200 students and staff actively participated in the competition. https://forms.gle/wiP9ggNPxgxkT5LJ9 On 13 th May, 2021 an awareness programme on COVID-19 part-II was organized  Dr.A.Padmavathi and Dr.Sr.P.Sunila Rani, Controller of Examinations were the resource persons of the programme.    An awareness programme on Corona Virus in the campus for all the staff and students. II year B.Sc Microbiology students presented an informative talk with help of a powerpoint presentation on March, 2020.
