Microbiology Guest Lecture

Department of Microbiology organized a guest talk on 28^th June, 2019 to all the Final year Applied Science students with Dr.P.Anitha Pedapati, scientist, Indian Institute of Oil palm research, Pedavegi as the resource person on the topic on Breaking seed dormancy in oil palm.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMMES

Dr.P.Jyothi Kumari, Dr.A.Padmavathi from the Department of Applied biosciences visited Chaitanya Junior college, Eluru to promote UG courses offered in our campus as per the rules by RJD. Dr.Y.Neeraja, Assistant professor in Microbiology visited Nri college, Eluru to promote UG courses offered in our campus as per the rules by RJD.

Nutri plus competitions

NUTRI-PLUS COMPETITIONS Dept of Applied Bio-sciences was conducted an academic competition on Nutrition Rich recipes (27-07-18) for the students to enhance the skill of cooking and to impart the knowledge on nutrient rich food which are good for healthy living.

INTERNATIONAL STUDY TOUR TO THAILAND

November 13 to 21, 2019 - 4 staff members Dr.P.Jyothi kumari, Dr.A.Padmavathi, Sr.Sunila Rani.P and Mrs.D.Lumbini Devi, 2 students M.Vineetha, III MBN, M.Devi, III MB Chemistry attended IMRF’s 13th International Conference Thailand at Asian Instititute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. Staff and students of the department also presented 5 papers in the programme.
