Guest Lectures


On 23rd of July Mrs. A.Padmavathi., senior faculty in microbiology gave a guest talk on 
the topic " SOIL NITROGEN FIXATION" at DNR COLLEGE, Bhimavaram.



Talk by Mr. Vishnu from Sukheebhava wellness institute, Eluru based at Bhimavaram was arranged by the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at 3pm. The resource person addressed 600 IInd year students on Philosophy of wellness.

Filed trip to Surya bio-products

On 20th November 2018 Dept of Microbiology organised a field trip to Surya Bio-products vatluru with regard to the Microbiology Cluster paper Bio- Fertilizers and Bio-pesticides. 20 students of Final MBN, MBChe & MBCs along with Ms.Ripsee.R visited the plant and learned about the maintenance of pure bacterial and fungal cultures, production and packaging of bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides We the students of III BSC Microbiology cluster students visited to SURYA BIOPRODUCTS industry under the guidance of Mrs.Neerja mam and Ms.Ripsee mam as a part of our study module and gained knowledge about   various techniques and processes involved   by the this field trip.

NATIONAL NUTRITION WEEK

NATIONAL NUTRITION WEEK   1.09.18 to 07.09.18 An Awareness talk to the final year students and the parent group of applied sciences on the topic " CANCER AND THE LIFE STYLE" Nutri-bell canteen was organized by Nutrition students Students of final Applied sciences had  a school visit and gave a seminars on health and Hygiene All the students of applied sciences actively participated in campus campaign on “BAN ON JUNCK FOOD” And they performed a mob on “No to junk food”   Students visited to the Banana research center -ICAR, kovvur. Where they gained knowledge of plant tissue culture techniques.
