Guest talks in the communities on EAT RIGHT in commemoration of Eat Right India movement

Mr.Vishnu., wellness coach of " LIFE SUKEEBHAVA", Gave a guest talk on the topic "Wellness Management”, to all the U.G & P.G Nutrition students. He addressed the gathering on the prospects of Wellness in Industries.

Department of Applied Biosciences oragnized a workshop on "Depericarping" as apart of their project. Associating with IIOPR On 15th Feb 2019. Dr.P.Anitha scientist at IIOPR gave a demo on the process of depericarping: to reduce seed dormancy of palm fruit to germinate seed.

Dr.P.Jyothi Kumari, Dr.A.Padmavathi from the Department of Applied biosciences visited Chaitanya Junior college, Eluru to promote UG courses offered in our campus as per the rules by RJD. On Feb 13 th 2023 Hannah Maria Mathew of III MBC participated in UGC sponsored national seminar on "Technology advances in Biochemical sciences" she has presented an abstract and poster on NANOBOTS at Acharya Nagarjuna University On 24 th Feb 2023 College day was celebrated in which All the applied department staff members along with 30 students took an active participation in tabulae-on Seed and Sower for prayer service lead by Dr. P. Jyothi Kumari and Dr. A. Padmavathi

Nutri plus competitions

NUTRI-PLUS COMPETITIONS Dept of Applied Bio-sciences was conducted an academic competition on Nutrition Rich recipes (27-07-18) for the students to enhance the skill of cooking and to impart the knowledge on nutrient rich food which are good for healthy living.
