WORKSHOPS ORGANIZED/ATTENDED


  • On 19th November, 2021 a workshop on “Mushroom Cultivation” was organized by the department of Applied Bio-Sciences.  Mr.Thota Jaichand, Thanusri Mushrooms Pvt., Ltd., Vijayawada was the resource person.
 

  • On 19th June, 2021 an online training on counseling and psycho social support to COVID-19 victims was organized as a part of St.Theresa’s COVID-19 counselling and wellbeing hub.  Dr.A.Padmavathi, H.O.D. of Microbiology and Biochemistry created an awareness on sanitation practices through online.
  • An online workshop on guidance on Psychosocial and counseling skills was organized on 10th June, 2021 to the students in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi National council of Rural Education, Department of Higher EDUCATION, Ministry of Education Govt.of India.  Online training was given to students by the resource person Mr.Suresh Jampa, MGNCRE, on Psycho-social and counseling skills.
  • Department of Microbiology organized a workshop on “HEMATOLOGICAL TECHNIQUES” in the month of September, 2019 in association with Vamsi Laboratories, Eluru.

Staff and students of the department also presented 5 papers in the programme.

New Academic Year 2019-2020

It is a new academic year of 2019-2020.  It is going to be a year of immense possibilities and challenges.  It's time to unfold new pages and start a new chapter.    We Have A New Principal - Dr.Sr.Marietta D'mello , the former provincial of sisters of St.Ann's Congregation of Providence, took charge as a new principal of St.Theresa's College, Eluru on 6th June, 2019.  Wholeheartedly the Management, Staff and Students welcome her to lead and guide the college.  The welcome celebrations was organized by the newly elected staff club members Dr.D.Fathima Rani, Mrs.Y.Neeraja and Mrs.Santhosh Jhawar .

Nutri plus competitions

NUTRI-PLUS COMPETITIONS      Dept of Applied Bio-sciences was conducted an academic competition on Nutrition Rich recipes (27-07-18) for the students to enhance the skill of cooking and to impart the knowledge on nutrient rich food which are good for healthy living.
